Even first time visitors are welcomed to stay at Tukino. Comfortable on-mountain accommodation is provided in three modern ski lodges immediately adjacent to the field - you can ski right to your door!
The Aorangi, Desert Alpine and Tukino Alpine Sports Club lodges have a friendly, warm atmosphere and full facilities.
When you stay in any of the lodges, you are welcomed as 'part of the club'. Duties are rostered to help with the day to day running of the lodge.
Each room has 4-6 bunk beds. The lodges are smoke-free.

No Problem - catch our Tukino Mountain Transport Service up to Tukino from the 2WD Car Park (Base Camp).
The Tukino Mountain Transport Service runs on demand 8:30am - 5:30pm, 7 days a week. Outside of those times by arrangement only.
Just call the Tukino Skifield (06 387 6294) from Waiouru or Turangi when you are traveling to the mountain and we will send our transport down to the 2WD Car Park to pick you up.
Cost for a return trip - Adults $20, Children $10.
