LEARN TO SKI OR SNOWBOARD

Our qualified instructors are available for ski/snowboard lessons for beginners to advanced skiers and snowboarders.

The Whangaehu Tow is ideal for beginners and has groomed trails. It’s easy and fun!

The Aorangi Tow is ideal for intermediate and advanced skiers to learn to ski and ride natural snow routes that are the locals favourite.

You need to book your Ski or Snowboard Lessons on the day at the Tukino Ticket Office.

To take lessons you will need to either have your own gear or hire equipment off the mountain from a rental shop. Tukino does not offer equipment rental services.

Availability of Lessons - 2023 ski season (subject to the availability of Instructors).

• At the Weekends only and on days when the Tukino Skifield is open, Ski Lessons are available between 10am and 1pm. On the day, call into the Tukino Ticket Office to book your lessons.

• Lesson Prices:

  1 hour Private Lesson (1 Person) - $80.00

  1 hour Group Lesson:

  Group of 2 - $120.00

  Group of 3 - $160.00

  Group of 4 - $200.00
